Zoe is an award-winning audio producer and writer. She is currently the Toronto-based producer for CBC Radio’s Unreserved. She was a producer for the documentary-style food podcast, The Fridge Light (CBC Podcasts). Her multimedia journalism work has been broadcast and published by The Walrus, the Globe and Mail, Monocle, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, among others. Her work was shortlisted for a new talent award by the Scottish Documentary Institute. Recently, she was a writer-in-residence at the Banff Centre for the Arts and Creativity. She holds a master’s degree in journalism and is an alumna of Reporting in Indigenous Communities, taught by Duncan McCue. Much of her work explores the intersections between food, colonialism, gender and the environment.
