Lynda Calvert
Contract Lecturer

 Lynda Calvert worked for more than 15 years as a journalist with CBC News, the last 10 of them as a national reporter for CBC TV and radio.  Lynda speaks both English and French, she has travelled extensively across Canada for work, and in doing so has filed stories on every conceivable topic under under every conceivable circumstance.   She has also reported from the US and Europe.  In 2010 Lynda left the CBC to pursue her master’s degree.  At the Munk School she specialised in cybersecurity; domestic and global security policy.  Lynda works as a consultant on a matter of global security policy for IATA, and, she teaches in the journalism programmes at both Ryerson University and at Seneca@York.
