Blake Lambert has been a journalist since 1995. From 1996 to 1999, he worked with CBC Radio in the Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan. From 1999 to 2007, he lived in Riga, West Jerusalem, Kampala and Accra as a foreign correspondent, mostly freelance. During that period, he reported for CBC Radio, the Christian Science Monitor, the Economist and several other media outlets. He achieved a minor degree of infamy in 2006 for being expelled from Uganda for his coverage. He holds an MA in international development studies from Dalhousie University. Since 2010, he has taught GNED 101, Globalization, Leadership, Political Science and more at Humber College. For fun, he plays guitar and vocalizes in the Toronto band, aus!Funkt.
